Kool Aid-Storyboards: Oh YEAH!!!
Well as the title suggests this is all about an assignment I did for my storyboarding class that involved drawing a Kool Aid commercial. Now this was our very first storyboard assignment but our 6th assignment in the class. Most of the prior projects were all perspective assignments and a couple of figure stuff so getting on this wasn't too bad at first knowing that my skills in perspective had gotten better.
I am crazy proud of how this came out because besides having to work from a script I had so much creative reign over this. The look for the moms were inspired by Joan Cusack from Shameless & Wendi McLendon- Covey look on the Goldbergs. The only thing that was not my favorite part was using greytone markers; you can't erase mistakes with markers, but the colors give the boards a little oomph.

More Video Editing YAY
So the moment I got back from school I was messing around with my camera & eventually taking a bunch of pictures and recordings of myself(yes I'm a vain person, but that's not the point).
If you don't know one of my new favorite shows is The Knick on Cinemax and it is amazing ,but one of my favorite parts of watching it is the countdown sequence Cinemax does right before the episode starts. It creates so much tension and anticipation for the show and that was the sorta kinda idea I had for this little video I did.

My main problem with this is that it's too damn short. That was the idea because I wanted to make this long enough for Instagram(which is stupid now I think about it), but jeez I just wish it was maybe 30 seconds instead of 15. I like what I have like the color correcting, text timing to the music and the slow mo thing going on, but I just want more( well maybe next time).
I know I've been gone for a bit without any substantial posts but I have some more free time now that I'm on break so expect some more good stuff coming until Happy Thanksgiving and as all ways

The Day Before My Birthday!
There are no word's to describe how good it feels to draw in my Moleyskin again(it feels like my fingers are making look with the paper). Anyway my BIRFDAY IS LESS THAN 13 hours!!!!!
I was going for a Mr. Freeze look with the big metallic body and a floating head in a glass helmet, but I don't know. It doesn't really look like him but I like it though.
